The Methodology is the Style:

These works appear to be stylistically unrelated. There is certainly a randomness in the way the images were chosen and merged. Like a science researcher, I’m interested in setting up a methodology and examining the results, selecting the most interesting outcomes unrelated to traditional notions of an artistic style. What all these images have in common is that they are single film frames (16x9 ratio) chosen from the thousands that were merged randomly. I made minor changes to the images in Photoshop, maintaining the basic image and color characteristics. Admittedly, this is a monkeys and typewriters strategy, but high speed computing makes it possible to create enough of these images so that the vagaries of chance lead to interesting outcomes.
